Specifications
- Sealing cup around center hole – prevents water intrusion from pin or screw penetration
- Round 2” diameter plastic plate, .28” gauge thick to .030” tapered edge
- Sixteen (16) reversed key slots for synthetic base coat adhesion / bonding
- High density, polypropylene plastic - designed polymers for temperature extremes & impact resilience.
Standard Features
- Can be screwed, shot, or hammer nailed. Cup holders mounted to safety stems of pneumatic, electric drill, or powder actuated tools. See details on this patented, efficient, and fast installation method.
- Bugle center hole with tolerance cross web to conform and hold pre-assembled screws or pins.
- Low profile and reinforced, tough design to hold building wrap, lath, wire, and foam products.
- Moisture sealing center cup to prevent water intrusion around and through nail/screw penetration.
- Reinforced radial ribs designed into bottom cup for strength and bearing support.
- Numerous grommet slot cavities allow exterior base coat to bond with disk face. Easy to handle, light weight, firm yet flexible.
- Unique, round plate design with outside circumference tapered flat. Round shape design, evenly distributes bearing load without any sharp edges, minimizing damage to facer on foam or tearing building wrap material from dynamic wind forces.
- Seated plate has minimum profile and will not catch edge of trowel nor interfere with exterior cladding, cement board siding, or acrylic PB and/or PM EIFS systems.
- Approved and endorsed by major system manufacturers of commercial building wrap, exterior coatings, and insulation board / materials.
Cerification and Testing
ATI – York, PA, an independent test laboratory, per ASTM E-2357 for negative/positive load resistance, E-1667, E-283, E-330, and E-331 for water resistance, plotting the chart’s wind load data and determined suggested fastener spacing. MSDS and in-house test reports are available for your records.
